We left home at 4:00 AM today and flew from Cedar Rapids to Atlanta, then from Atlanta to Bonaire. Everything went surprisingly smoothly. The second plane was quite nice, we each had a little screen on the back of the seat in front of us, and we got to watch for free. I found three episodes of Doctor Who which kept me occupied for most of the flight.

We landed safely at the Flamingo Airport around 1:45 Bonaire time.

After we had rented a truck and unpacked in our condo, we went grocery shopping at a Dutch supermarket. Grocery shopping in Bonaire is always interesting seeing as none of us can read Dutch...

Finally once all of this was finished, we got to go snorkeling at Bari Reef, which is just hop and a skip away from our condo. Bari was just a beautiful and enchanting as ever. Tomorrow we'll be able to start our diving after registering with the people at the dive shop. Can't wait!
